Location Description
Wallasey Water Tower was built in 1860 to hold 150,000 gallons of water for the local area. It was Grade 2 listed in the 1980s. During the blitz bombing campaign, the tank which is located on the top of the tower was bombed, causing the loss of the entire tank, however the supporting tower still remains, housing 5 floors that are packed with character and are around 1000ft each creating a unique filming space that could be suitable for a wide range of productions. The Tower has been enabled with Three-Phase electrical power (with 63A sockets), 40Gbps of Internet and currently has its windows boarded so that productions can keep control over the lighting conditions. It has loading hatches to each floor, which is operated using an electric winch for heavy/large objects. 24/7 access is available.
